Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a dynamic individual with corporate sales experience that's creative, target driven, and has the ability to learn quickly, as the product is specialised and comprehensive.
You would be selling into corporates and big business, specifically to individuals responsible for Company Corporate Affairs, Transformation and impact scorecard, specifically relating to Enterprise Development, Preferential Procurement and Corporate Social Investment.
What the role entails
Pre-Sales
- Plan and execute sales interventions and generate qualified leads.
- Research customers to determine the best solution to offer.
- Present and sell company products and services.
- Use a highly consultative approach to develop suitable client solutions.
- Identify decision-makers and prepare targeted action plans.
Sales
- Meet with all levels of business, including C-Suite executives.
- Conduct in-depth needs analyses and occasional Board presentations.
- Identify and contact prospects, including cold calling.
- Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
- Negotiate persuasively with the goal of closing high-value deals.
Relationship Management and General
- Establish and maintain current and potential client relationships.
- Identify and resolve client concerns.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge.
- Prepare contract-service paperwork and report on sales activity.
- Participate in marketing events and networking opportunities.
- Report competitor activity and maintain accurate CRM data.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
What you need to bring
A desire to impact the growth of SME businesses in Namibia.
- A relevant bachelor’s qualification and/or at least two years’ sales experience with a track record of closing high-value deals.
- A valid Code 8 driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Advanced PC and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- CSR investment and/or supplier-development experience is advantageous.

- Sound business acumen and strong commercial judgement.
- Ability to develop a client base, engage high-profile corporate clients, present and close deals.
- Persuasiveness, influence and strong negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to set and reach stretch targets.
Interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound interpersonal skills, creativity and confidence with people.
- Excellent verbal, written, negotiation and presentation ability.
- A strong hunter with farming skills, focused on closing.
